The internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a solid base upon which to build your commercial real estate sales career. The program provides you with a unique perspective on our integrated service lines. As a program participant, you will also partake in learning and development activities designed especially for you.
About The Role:
This internship is designed for current college students, undergraduate or graduate seeking a career in commercial real estate. We are seeking a motivated and diligent Event Intern to join our team. This internship is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and driving a wide range of events. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and eager to learn about event logistics, vendor coordination, and guest experiences.
What You'll Do:
+ Support the Events Team in planning and completing company-wide and departmental events.
+ Assist with logistics including venue setup, catering, A/V needs, and registration.
+ Coordinate with internal customers and external vendors to ensure event needs are met.
+ Manage event timelines and update checklists to track planning progress.
+ Assist in creating and distributing event materials (e.g., agendas, signage, name badges).
+ Help manage event budgets and track invoices and receipts.
+ Provide on-site event support including setup, guest check-in, and troubleshooting.
+ Perform tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining documents, and data entry.
What You'll Need:
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing,
+ Communications, or a related field.
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office
+ Professional demeanor and ability to interact with internal teams and vendors.
+ Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends during events.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training and experience. The minimum salary for the Intern position is $13.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Intern position is $25.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
