Description
The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) team at AWS is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of World-Wide Public Sector Non-Profit & Industry Sales (NPO & PSI). The Executive Assistant will report directly to the Vice President, and provide calendar management, travel, expenses, project management assistance and overall administrative support.
This role demands a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently on assignments with sound judgment. The right candidate will have a strong bias for action, ownership, and the ability to juggle many balls in the air. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is imperative. This individual will also directly collaborate with the Lead Executive Assistant of Worldwide Public Sector ensuring the NPO & PSI EA teams are organized and are allocated effectively across the business. Position ideally located in Seattle.
Key job responsibilities
• Proactively support the VP’s leadership team (i.e. aiding in the execution and management of team activities and internal/external events)
• Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements including international impact
• Collect and process all VP expenses for travel, events, and supplies
• Organize and plan both domestic and International travel, including creating and owning itineraries that can often be very complex
• Organize, prioritize and handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure appropriate action is taken
• Manage various other projects for the executives and company
• Work in direct partnership with the Lead EA of WWPS in the direction and organization of the NPO & PSI EA team such as leading internal EA meetings and advising on support allocation
• Prepare various correspondence and documents for executives; edit and proof correspondence and documents
• Open, close and manage PO process
• Track and drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding executive action items
• Work with Finance to track goals, headcount, and budgets

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
- Experience working with large global teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
