    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Customs Compliance Specialist / FTZ Administrator. This role supports import compliance and Free Trade Zone (FTZ) operations while also providing administrative assistance to our Sales and Operations teams. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Customs Compliance & FTZ Administration:

    + Submit required reports and forms to U.S. Customs and the FTZ Board on a regular schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)

    + File daily customs and FTZ entries and follow up to resolve any issues that come up

    + Review shipping documents for incoming international shipments

    + Double-check whether items are foreign or domestic and make sure that shipment details are accurate

    + Help prepare weekly customs entry forms and ensure data is correct before submission

    + Monitor FTZ inventory and quickly resolve any issues or discrepancies

    + Keep organized records in compliance with customs regulations and make sure they’re ready for review when needed

    + Manage FTZ shipment movements (both inbound and outbound) using the correct customs forms

    + Assist the Customs and Logistics teams with data analysis and reporting

    + Investigate missing or short shipments and file reports with the appropriate teams

    + Help keep FTZ procedures up to date to reflect actual operations

    + Look for ways to improve compliance processes and suggest changes to make things more efficient

    + Conduct regular checks to make sure customs processes are being followed and that inventory and recordkeeping systems are accurate

    + Support CBP (Customs and Border Protection) during on-site reviews by providing required information

    + Be a go-to resource for team members who have questions about import and export rules or procedures

    Sales Support Duties:

    + Provide administrative support to the Sales team including data entry, order tracking, and documentation

    + Respond to internal and external inquiries related to product availability, order status, and shipping details

    + Assist in maintaining accurate customer records and sales reports

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer and order-related issues

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred

    + 1–3 years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, international trade, or related area (internship experience welcomed)

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    + Familiarity with FTZ operations or U.S. Customs regulations
