Description
Amazon Web Services is looking to hire a highly motivated Program Manager to build, own and drive process improvement and programs that span multiple teams within Analytics Services. From Day 1, Program Managers are given ownership and the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions, along with the ability to drive significant impact to the customer experience and the business. This role requires working with professionals in many different realms including Engineering, Product Management, HR, Marketing, Sales, and Finance, as well as high visibility to senior leaders at AWS. This position requires a proactive, “out of the box” thinker and motivated individual with effective, professional communication. It will involve communicating with leaders and teams across multiple business units, while maintaining and implementing changes to processes, holding teams accountable, succinct reports with appropriate levels of detail. Innovation and simplification in the process is valued at any time, and the individual in this role is empowered to rapidly make necessary changes.

We are looking for someone who:
• Brings a unique combination of resourceful, highly analytical, team oriented with communication and business skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive scalable and effective solutions/mechanisms.
• Thrives in an agile and fast-paced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives, has a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in dynamic business situations.
• Provides the right amount of information and insights to business teams, and are also able to dive deep to have a thorough understanding of products and current programs.
• Is able to juggle competing priorities, be scrappy when necessary and handles ambiguity comfortably.
• Is data driven and has experience in data analytics. Is passionate about finding root causes and trends independently. Uses large data sets to identify complex patterns, drive actionable outcomes resulting in operational solutions to real business problems, and relate opportunities for partnerships across Amazon.
• Demonstrates a history and passion for delivering results and building trust with leadership and peers
• Has a desire to grow professionally as the role’s responsibility grows rapidly with the business
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to communicate in writing clearly, succinctly, and in a data-driven fashion
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Comfortable with going deep and wide. Data driven
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects: effective work prioritization, planning and task delegation
- Experience influencing stakeholders at executive level, and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams to deliver results
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Ability to balance the operational with the tactical, even as operational load increases during peak seasons
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams
- Experience using automation tools to scale program management, such as Sharepoint or Jira.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Innovative and self-directed

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
