Job Description
Join our passionate and purpose-driven Foundation team as a Development Assistant, where every detail you manage helps power meaningful fundraising efforts across the Arnot Health Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network, and St. Joseph’s Hospital. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll provide administrative and operational support for donor relations, special events, and community partnerships—while also leading the coordination of the Arnot Health Auxiliary and Gift Shop operations.

Your Schedule
+ Full-time, 40 hours per week
+ Monday through Friday
+ Day shift (no weekends!)
+ 6 paid holidays

What You’ll Do
+ Serve as the go-to support for the Development team, including event planning, donor engagement, and database management
+ Manage the Raiser’s Edge database: gift entry, donor updates, tracking, and reporting
+ Prepare timely and accurate donor correspondence, pledge reminders, and recurring gift processing
+ Reconcile gifts and contributions with accounting; generate reports on donations and expenditures
+ Provide high-level customer service to donors, volunteers, staff, and community members
+ Support office operations: phones, minutes, supplies, scheduling, and coordination
+ Liaison with the Arnot Health Auxiliary: manage communications, dues, event coordination, and public presence
+ Oversee Gift Shop operations including inventory, staffing, and financial reporting
+ Attend required educational sessions and uphold HIPAA and organizational standards
+ Maintain a professional, friendly presence that reflects the mission and values of Arnot Health
What We’re Looking For
+ Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ At least 3 years of experience in an office setting, with a strong focus on customer service and administrative support
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Strong writing, editing, and communication abilities
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with fundraising databases preferred (Raiser’s Edge a plus!)
+ Ability to multitask and collaborate across teams, volunteers, and external partners
+ Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
