    Position Description:

    We are seeking a Data Conversion Analyst to join our CGI team!

     

    This position is located at our client site in Sacramento, CA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

     

    Responsible for managing all aspects of integrations between systems, including designing, developing, and testing integrations between a core ERP system and various external systems.

     

    Experience needed in the areas of facilitating requirements gathering sessions, extracting, transforming, and loading relevant data between internal applications and external systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to understand integration needs

    • Extract, transform, and load relevant data between internal applications and external systems

    • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while effectively communicating with stakeholders

    • Report risks and status updates to the team lead or manager

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    How you'll make an impact

    • Gather and document system conversion requirements from stakeholders

    • Design, develop, unit test, and system test interfaces using Pentaho and shell scripts

    • Manage software version control of work products

    • Adhere to project plans and communicate software delivery schedules

    • Troubleshoot issues during solution implementation

    • Assist in final implementation and go-live activities planning

    • Gain proficiency in CGI Advantage ERP through collaboration with the CGI product team and formal/informal training

    • Provide timely and informative status updates to the team lead

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    What you'll bring

    • 2+ years of Data Conversion Analyst experience

    • Proficiency in SQL

    • Experience with DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

    • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, bsh, ksh)

    • Understanding of SDLC (Requirements gathering, testing, QA)

    • ETL experience (i.e. – Pentaho, Talend, Apache NiFi, Informatica, etc.)

    • Data analysis experience

    • Effective communication and facilitation skills

     

    Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

    Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:

    • ERP experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,500.00 - $134,100.00.
