    Job Description

    We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join GDIT as a Project/Task Senior Manager. As part of our deployment information technology team, you will be responsible for managing, automating, and optimizing the execution of enterprise-wide projects across multiple systems and platforms. You will assist Scrum Master/Coaches, oversee Quality Assurance, maintain the Risk Registry, manage action items, provide weekly/monthly status reports and conduct peer reviews of deliverables with the Program Manager. You will work with program leadership to monitor and maintain the integrated master schedule, manage cloud financial operations (FinOps), track milestones, risks and actions, dependencies, resource utilization, and deliverable timelines while having daily interactions with GDIT technical leadership, Government customers, and other key stakeholders to assess our existing and new systems infrastructure and ensure project alignment with SETRIS and federal reporting standards.

    • Establish and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders

    • Prepare event schedules and reports as required

    • Maintain schedules for complex projects, site locations, and overall performance

    Project/Task Senior Manager Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with IT operations, development teams, and business analysts to ensure that scheduled tasks align with business requirements and operational goals

    • Design, implement, and manage schedule templates

    • Assist in training and provide support to end-users and other stakeholders on scheduling tools and processes

    • Monitor the status of scheduled tasks, ensuring they are completed on time, and take appropriate actions in the event of failures or delays

    • Ensure tasks are completed with the correct dependencies, sequencing, and priorities

    • Create quality analytical products to include visualizations, briefs, workflows, diagrams, and reports

    • Collaborate with technical teams to proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or performance bottlenecks

    **Project/Task Senior Manager Requirements and Qualifications** • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the scheduler with enterprise systems• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field; master's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred

    • Experience on teams working complex software development task leveraging agile project management constructs

    • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trends

    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

    • Experience with software development cycles

    • 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT scheduling

    • Experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Web Application

    The likely salary range for this position is $120,700 - $163,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
