AWS Solutions Expert

HOW A SOLUTIONS EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Lead design and implementation of cloud native solutions using AWS serverless architecture, including Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, and SQS

• Leverage AI/ML services such as Textract, Comprehend, and Rekognition to build intelligent document and data processing pipelines/workflows

• Provide technical leadership and SME level support in solution architecture, cloud integration patterns, and system performance tuning

• Lead discovery sessions and solutioning workshops with internal solutions architects and lead developers and external clients to understand business needs and define solution approaches

• Build rapid proof of concepts (PoCs), prototypes, and production ready templates using latest best cloud & microservice best practices

•Collaborate with SecDevOps and data teams to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, and scalable

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Required Experience: 15+ years of related hand-on experience architecting and developing solutions on AWS

• Proven expertise in AWS Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Textract, and other AWS AI/ML services

• Security Clearance Level: Public Trust

• Solid experience with Python or Node.js for AWS Lambda functions

• Strong understanding of event driven architecture and microservices

• Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation or Teraform for infrastructure provisioning

• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into business aligned outcomes

• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaderships from both business and technical departments

• Experience working in federal client facing or consulting roles

• Preferred Skills:

+ AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional

+ Experience integrating AWS services with third party or enterprise systems

+ Experience working with Federal Secure Cloud Advisory Committee

The likely salary range for this position is $161,158 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
