Summary
As a Planner I, you will be involved in the day-to-day manufacturing operations, managing inventory level, and maximizing the company’s profitability. You will be responsible for planning, supplying, and controlling consigned materials delivered to subcontracting (toll processing) vendors. You will require accurate tracking of material flow, inventory reconciliation, and timely procurement based on production plans
Responsibilities:
+ Ability to calculate material requirements based on production plans and ensure timely procurement
of consigned materials
+ Experience in managing lead times from order placement to delivery and
improving on-time delivery performance
+ Capability to systematically manage inbound/outbound flows and
inventory levels of consigned materials
+ Experience in conducting regular physical inventory audits and ensuring consistency
between physical and system inventory records
+ Skilled in operating inventory control systems to prevent overstock and minimize aging
or obsolete stock
+ Proficiency in handling purchasing transactions based on unit prices and performing IT system (ERP) -
based input and closing
+ Ability to manage purchasing timing and control cost recognition according to material receipt
and financial period cut-offs
+ Experience in managing material transactions to and from subcontractors, including inventory issuance
and return flow control
+ Ability to monitor material consumption and prevent losses during external processing stages
+ Proven capability in stabilizing material supply through effective communication
and coordination with subcontracting partners
+ Synchronize information flow between multiple IT systems (GMES, GDW, GSCM, DP, DW, FP, MRP, WMS, etc.)
+ Work closely with production strategy to align production KPIs and company's goals
+ Defining appropriate Inventory stock level and checking the observance of inventory operation policy
+ Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage(from raw material,
semi product, final product)
+ Promptly address and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production
+ Promptly discuss the relevant departments regarding changes to current production schedules
+ Leadership scheduling and support
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
+ 1 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the ESS industry
Skills:
+ Strong written and oral communication skills
+ Leadership and interpersonal skills
+ High attention to detail and understanding of multiple metrics
+ Analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to work cross-functionally
+ Fluency in Korean preferred
+ MS Office suite
