    Position Overview

    The Cybersecurity Analyst will report to the Manager, Cybersecurity and will conduct initial triage and analysis on cybersecurity alerts and threats which have been detected, threat hunting activities to proactively identify vulnerabilities in company applications, systems and networks, investigate and work with IT Operations members to remediates security vulnerabilities and threats.

     

    The incumbent ensures corporate security measures are effective in mitigating threats and risks and provides consultation on security issues to IT delivery team and local company IT support groups and administration of security tools.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    _Threat Monitoring and Detection:_

    + Perform continuous monitoring of security systems, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platforms, and other tools to detect potential threats and anomalies as part of Fujifilm’s Global Security Operation.

    + Analyze alerts generated by intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, antivirus solutions, and other security technologies.

    + Identify patterns or indicators of compromise (IOCs) to detect malicious activity.

    _Incident Response:_

    + Triage, prioritize, and respond to security events and incidents in real time.

    + Contain, mitigate, and remediate incidents to minimize operational impact.

    + Conduct detailed forensic analysis and root-cause investigation of incidents.

    + Escalate critical incidents to higher-tier analysts or SOC leadership as needed.

    _Threat Intelligence and Analysis:_

    + Collect and analyze threat intelligence to improve detection and response capabilities.

    + Keep up with the latest threat vectors, attack techniques, and emerging vulnerabilities.

    + Contribute to the development and refinement of detection and response use cases.

    _Vulnerability and Risk Management:_

    + Assist in vulnerability assessments, ensuring systems are patched and hardened against identified vulnerabilities.

    + Collaborate with IT and network teams to address vulnerabilities and minimize risk exposure.

    _SOC Tools and Processes:_

    + Manage and improve SOC technologies, such as SIEM, log management systems, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) tools, and vulnerability scanners.

    + Support the documentation of incident handling processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    + Optimize alert configurations and fine-tune SOC workflows for efficiency.

    + Provide assistance with the installation and troubleshooting of security software

    _Compliance and Reporting:_

    + Create detailed reports on security incidents and provide actionable recommendations.

    + Generate periodic security metrics and dashboards for SOC performance and incident trends.

    + Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS).

    + Security Awareness:

    + Assist with campaigns to enhance awareness of cybersecurity threats across the organization, as needed.

    + Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.

    + Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.

    _Other Activities:_

    + Perform other security related activities as assigned by the Cybersecurity Manager

    Required Skills/Education

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    + 1–3+ years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity, or related IT role.

    + Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including threat vectors, malware, ransomware, phishing, and DDoS attacks.

    + Hands-on experience with SOC monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM platforms like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).

    + Familiarity with endpoint security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies.

    + Strong analytical mindset with an ability to process large volumes of logs, alerts, and data effectively.

    Desired Skills

    + Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, or GCIA.

    + Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and analysis.

    + Awareness of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or Kill Chain methodologies.

    + Experience with cloud security monitoring for platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

    + Background in threat intelligence and malware analysis.

    + Familiarity with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump.

    + Experience with EDR tools such as Crowdstrike Falcon

    Salary and Benefits

    + $58,710 - $80,000 depending on experience
