    Description

    Robert Half is currently assisting a valued client in hiring a Data Entry Clerk to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with large volumes of information.

    About the Role:

    The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the company’s systems and databases. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent typing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Enter data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, or proprietary systems

    + Verify and correct data to ensure completeness and accuracy

    + Perform regular audits to identify and resolve data inconsistencies

    + Maintain organized filing systems—digital and/or physical

    + Assist with generating reports or summaries based on collected data

    + Handle confidential information with discretion

    + Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and workflow efficiency

    Requirements

    + Proven experience in a data entry or clerical support role preferred

    + Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

    + Strong typing and data entry skills (speed and accuracy)

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

    + Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

    + High school diploma or equivalent required
