Description Growing oil and gas services company is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to add to their growing team.

This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable (AR) function, ensuring accurate customer invoicing, timely collections, and compliance with company policies. Experience with NetSuite and OpenInvoice software is strongly preferred. This role requires a detail-oriented financial professional with a proven history of improving AR processes and motivating team members to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• This role will eventually supervise the accounts receivable team, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.

• Oversee invoicing, credit memos, and collections processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage customer relationships, including handling AR inquiries and resolving disputes in a professional and timely manner.

• Utilize NetSuite and OpenInvoice systems to streamline billing and collection activities (strongly preferred).

• Perform reconciliations of AR sub-ledger accounts with the general ledger to maintain financial accuracy.

• Generate and analyze AR reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Establish and enforce policies for credit approvals, collections, and payment terms.

• Partner with cross-functional teams, such as sales and operations, to optimize AR workflows.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to AR.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of accounts receivable experience, including supervisory or management experience.

• Experience in the energy or oil and gas services industry is a plus.

• Proficiency in NetSuite and OpenInvoice is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of AR processes and best practices, including collections and reconciliations.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
