    What´s the role?

     

    As the Director of Retail Operations and Demand Planning, your primary focus will be the alignment between demand planning, supply chain communication, sales operations, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of demand forecasting, effective communication with supply chain partners, and the ability to drive sales through strategic offers and promotions.

     

    How can you add value?

     

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on market trends, historical data, and customer insights and align the inventory levels and production capacities.

    + Continuously refine and improve demand planning processes to enhance accuracy and responsiveness.

    + Establish and uphold transparent communication channels with the supply chain team to effectively coordinate the strategy for fulfilling demand.

    + Work collaboratively to address any challenges related to inventory, production delays, or other factors affecting product availability.

    + Implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize lead times.

    + Collaborate with sales leadership to design and implement sales processes that align with business goals and objectives and develop strategies to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve overall sales team performance.

    + Apply CRM tools and sales enablement technologies to drive efficiency in sales operations.

    + Drive the development and execution of GTM strategies for new products, offers, and promotions and monitor the performance making data-driven adjustments as needed.

    + Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to launching new products and promotions in the market.

    + Introduce and promote new offers and promotions to the sales team, customers, and other stakeholders, and oversee the impact on sales performance to adjust strategies as needed.

    + Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all communication channels.

    + Act as a point of contact for sales field customer concerns, addressing issues related to demand fulfillment, product availability, or sales operations.

    + Collaborate with pertinent teams to address raised issues and institute preventive measures to minimize future escalations.

    + Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy of all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.

    + Other functions c may be assigned.

     

    What do you need?

    Education and/or Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related. Master’s degree preferred.

     

    10 – 12 years of experience and at least two years of management responsibility.

    Other Qualifications:

    + Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).

    + Ability to lead high impact cross functional initiatives while effectively handling both internal and external partners.

    + Superior attention to detail/highly organized, strong sense of accountability.

    + In-depth knowledge and experience with forecasting processes and methodologies.

    + Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

    + Solid Analytical tool kit- SQL & Tableau, Python or R and any other analytics tool are preferred.

    + Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills, enabling individuals to establish partnerships working with senior leaders and across organizational lines.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present sophisticated technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders.

    + Outstanding attention to detail without losing sight of the "bigger picture".

    + A strategic mentality with sound reasoning skills to understand the factors influencing strategy such as customers, competition, and the organization’s strengths and weakness.

    + A thorough understanding of product development and the sourcing process.

    + A critical understanding of the market to lead merchandising efforts for multiple brands.

    + Well-developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to handle several projects and tasks at a time.

    + Willing to travel
