Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Accountant to support various cash management, disbursement, and accounting functions within the Treasury department. This role primarily focuses on General Ledger (GL) responsibilities and ensures accurate processing and reconciliation of transactions across multiple entities and bank accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and post journal entries for banking transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, and Zero Balance Account (ZBA) activity.
+ Assign appropriate GL codes, prepare entries for management review, and ensure timely upload into relevant financial systems.
+ Perform monthly bank reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with banks to resolve issues.
+ Respond to audit inquiries and coordinate with auditors to confirm bank balances and provide supporting documentation.
+ Investigate and resolve variances in cash transactions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
+ Support electronic payment processes and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
+ Monitor financial deadlines and ensure completion of assigned tasks in accordance with internal schedules.
+ Assist with process improvements and documentation of treasury accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, treasury, or a related finance role.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
+ Strong understanding of financial systems, bank operations, and accounting principles.
+ Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Effective communicator with the ability to interact professionally with banks, auditors, and internal teams.
