Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in La Porte, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will manage payroll operations and support human resources functions for a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in multi-state payroll processing, and adept at handling benefits and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for up to 150 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle multi-state payroll operations, including tax compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Manage manual and paper timesheets, verifying data for accurate payroll entries.

• Oversee benefits administration, including 401k and RRSP contributions.

• Prepare and file payroll-related documents, such as W-2s, 1099s, and T4s.

• Utilize payroll software systems such as ADP Windows to streamline operations.

• Collaborate with HR to support employee onboarding and address payroll-related inquiries.

• Maintain detailed payroll records while adhering to confidentiality standards.

• Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies to ensure smooth operations.

• Provide insights and reports using Excel to aid in payroll and benefits analysis. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.

• Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll operations.

• Strong knowledge of payroll-related documentation, including W-2s, 1099s, and T4s.

• Experience with benefits administration, including 401k and RRSP plans.

• Expertise in payroll software systems, particularly ADP Windows.

• Advanced skills in Excel for data reporting and analysis.

• Familiarity with payroll management for 101-500 employees.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
