Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full-cycle B2B collections process while building strong customer relationships and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will excel in managing high-volume accounts and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collections operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete B2B collections cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing for high-volume accounts.
• Manage collections activities through online portals, maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and nurture relationships with customers to encourage prompt payments and resolve disputes effectively.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure invoicing is accurate and issued on schedule.
• Negotiate payment terms and compliance requirements with customers to meet company standards.
• Adhere to established collections procedures while implementing relationship-focused strategies.
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to track, analyze, and report on collections activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, particularly in B2B collections.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, cash handling, and cash activity management.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills for managing high-volume accounts.
• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Skilled in negotiating payment terms and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of general accounting functions and principles.
• Experience mentoring or supporting team members who are newer to the field is a plus.
