    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This Contract to Permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to payroll operations for a leading organization in the Services industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with IT, HR, and other departments to maintain secure payroll systems and protocols.

    • Process payroll in compliance with labor laws and established accounting standards.

    • Prepare quarterly and year-end payroll reports with precision and accuracy.

    • Assist employees with inquiries related to wage deductions, fringe benefits, and payroll-related issues.

    • Generate regular payroll reports and support financial audits involving payroll records.

    • Review and verify payroll data entries, including salary adjustments, deductions, terminations, and leaves of absence.

    • Ensure adherence to payroll tax regulations and legal requirements, including federal, state, and local tax reporting.

    • Enhance payroll systems and workflows to streamline data collection and processing. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration.

    • Proficiency in accounting software systems and payroll platforms, including ADP.

    • Expertise in handling full-cycle payroll for organizations with over 500 employees.

    • Knowledge of multistate payroll processes and tax compliance.

    • Familiarity with 401k and RRSP administration and benefit functions.

    • Strong understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and regulatory requirements.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

    • Ability to deliver outstanding internal customer service and resolve payroll-related concerns effectively.
