Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations while growing your career in accounting. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, general ledger coding, vendor compliance, weekly check runs, and reconciliation of vendor accounts.

• Oversee accounts receivable processes such as cash receipt posting, customer account reconciliation, aging and collections tracking, and preparation of monthly invoices and statements.

• Ensure vendor and customer compliance by coordinating setup, maintaining tax documentation, and managing annual 1099 reporting requirements.

• Provide general accounting support by posting transactions to the general ledger and assisting with departmental tasks as needed.

• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on department processes and contribute to overall operational efficiency. Requirements • Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience of 2+ years in the field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general billing functions.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and invoice processing.

• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Strong communication skills for vendor and customer interactions.
