We are seeking a skilled Data Entry Specialist to support our client on a critical project within their accounting department. This individual will play a key role entering data into QuickBooks online as they look to standardize the chart of accounts and ensuring accurate updates in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Key Responsibilities:
+ Extract, review, and update financial data from QuickBooks Online (QBO).
+ Support the consolidation of financial information.
+ Accurately update and standardize the Chart of Accounts in QBO as directed by the Manager.
+ Perform extensive data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Follow clear instructions to execute tedious and repetitive tasks independently.
+ Work within defined timelines to meet project objectives.
The client is tackling a multi-layered project to streamline and organize their financial reporting processes. As part of this initiative, they are consolidating financial information into a unified system. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for managing the time-intensive task of updating the chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online and ensuring all data aligns with the client’s specified accounting structure.
This role does not require advanced accounting duties but does require the ability to understand and follow financial terminology as well as apply updates to accounting records with precision. The project duration will be 4-6 weeks.
Requirements
Top Skills & Qualifications:
+ QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience – Basic proficiency is required.
+ Basic accounting knowledge – A clear understanding of financial concepts and workflows at an operational or staff level.
+ Strong data entry skills – Must be comfortable with high-volume, detail-oriented work.
+ Proficient in navigating accounting systems and software.
+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions provided by the Manager.
+ Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to identify discrepancies or errors.
+ Adept at working independently with minimal supervision.
