    Job Description

The Grande Dame is now hiring for a Utility Steward (Dishwasher). Come and join the #1 Hotel in the City of Pittsburgh and her Team!

    Responsibilities

    This person is responsible for cleaning pots, pans and all other cookware utensils as well as keeping cookware washing area and kitchen floor clean and free of debris. Duties also include storing clean items in proper locations, emptying trash containers, operatating trash compactor, and primarily running hot boxes to banquet spaces from kitchen to banquet spaces and completing other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

    Qualifications

    This job requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 150 pounds.

     

    Must be available to work all shifts ; AM, PM & overnights.

     

    Union contracted rates: $14.87 first 3 months, $15.69 after 3 months, $16.52 after 6 months.

     

    Union dues $41.25/ month
