Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Gonzales, Louisiana. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in dealership accounting and grow within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, remain composed under pressure, and bring strong communication and organizational skills to the position.

Responsibilities:

• Process and close service repair orders and parts invoices with accuracy.

• Prepare daily deposits for parts and service transactions.

• Manage the remittance and cancellation of warranty products in a timely manner.

• Perform general accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and invoice processing.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial operations.

• Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software tools to maintain accurate records and reports.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks as needed.

• Handle billing and data entry tasks with attention to detail.

• Maintain a detail-oriented and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues. Requirements

• Previous experience in dealership accounting is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, is advantageous.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated professionalism and a positive attitude under pressure.

• Familiarity with financial systems such as QuickBooks or SAP is beneficial.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
