Join a high-performing real estate team as a Senior Property Accountant, where your attention to detail and accounting expertise will directly impact the financial success of a growing portfolio. We're seeking a driven and experienced accounting professional with a strong background in property accounting and proficiency in MRI Software.

In this role, you'll take ownership of the full-cycle accounting process for a portfolio of commercial or residential properties, supporting financial integrity, accuracy, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage full-cycle property accounting for a portfolio of assets using MRI software

+ Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

+ Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and tenant ledgers

+ Process accruals, journal entries, and CAM reconciliations

+ Assist with annual budget preparation and variance analysis

+ Collaborate with property managers and asset management to ensure accurate financial reporting

+ Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and ensure timely rent collection and vendor payments

+ Provide audit support and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ Minimum of 4 years of property accounting experience, preferably in commercial real estate

+ Proficient in MRI Software (required)

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

+ Self-starter with a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
