Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Finance Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position within the banking industry, offering a collaborative work environment and opportunities to contribute to lending and funding processes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily financial tasks, maintain accurate records, and support the funding team in various operational activities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly balancing processes to ensure financial accuracy.

• Distribute chargeback notices from the previous day during the first half of the business day.

• Update and maintain records to assist underwriters and funders with work overflow.

• Provide logistical support for expedited document handling using FedEx.

• Collaborate closely with team members to facilitate lending operations and processes.

• Assist the funding team with small parcel logistics and other administrative tasks.

• Ensure all data is processed accurately to maintain compliance within the banking industry.

• Foster strong communication within the team to promote efficiency and productivity.

• Support indirect lending efforts by managing account coding and loan product information.

• Organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably within the banking industry.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with loan underwriting, consumer loans, and indirect lending processes.

• Ability to manage chargebacks and fund management tasks efficiently.

• Organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency in account coding and knowledge of loan products.

• Commitment to working onsite in Kalamazoo, Michigan, as part of a tight-knit team.
