Description We are looking for a dedicated Retention Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lafayette, Colorado. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing subscription renewal rates by identifying and re-engaging customers at risk of churn. Your work will involve direct communication with clients, analyzing feedback, and crafting tailored solutions to maintain customer relationships and drive retention.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze customer data to identify inactive, silent, or at-risk subscribers using CRM and billing systems.
• Investigate reasons behind subscription cancellations and document customer feedback to inform retention strategies.
• Develop and present personalized retention offers or packages that align with company objectives.
• Collaborate with teams across Customer Success, Sales, and Support to ensure consistent messaging and smooth escalation processes.
• Monitor and report on outreach activities, engagement metrics, and successful retention outcomes.
• Create and refine playbooks or templates to optimize future retention efforts.
• Utilize subscription platforms, such as Salesforce and Maxio, to track and manage customer interactions effectively.
• Stay informed about product offerings to address customer concerns and provide solutions.
• Contribute to the development of strategies aimed at reducing churn and improving customer loyalty. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, inside sales, or customer retention, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based industry.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce and subscription management platforms such as Maxio.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand product offerings to address customer needs.
• Strong analytical skills to assess customer data and identify trends.
• Experience in creating and delivering tailored retention strategies.
• Collaborative mindset to work across multiple teams and departments.
• Detail-oriented approach to document customer interactions and track performance metrics.
