    Description

    We’re partnering with John Deere Waterloo Works to find a Materials Specialist who will support production by managing the flow of materials through the manufacturing supply chain. This is a first-shift, fully onsite opportunity ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and an interest in manufacturing operations.

     

    Shift: 1st shift | Start time between 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM

     

    Schedule: Full-time with potential for overtime and occasional weekend hours

     

    Duration: Currently approved for a three-year contract, possibility for extension

     

    Work Environment: 90% of time will be spent on the shop floor

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Coordinate the flow of materials to support on-time production and delivery

     

    - Leverage SAP-PP for production planning and inventory accuracy

     

    - Collaborate across departments to maintain efficient operations

     

    - Interact with legacy systems such as CWIS to support service part fulfillment

     

    - Apply basic change control principles to manage supply chain adjustments

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field required

     

    - Manufacturing or supply chain experience is a plus, but not required

     

    - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

     

    - Must be comfortable standing or walking for the majority of the workday
