    Description

    The Inside Sales Representative is a key contributor to the sales process, responsible for supporting an external salesperson, managing customer transactions, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a customer-centric mindset, organization, and technical proficiency. This is a PERMANENT PLACEMENT position, working 40 hours per week.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide dedicated support to one outside sales representative, assisting with transaction processing and client engagement.

    + Handle the accurate entry and processing of sales orders.

    + Generate and deliver precise price quotes for customers.

    + Produce essential sales documents, including sales orders, purchase orders, and shipping documents.

    + Collaborate with the outside salesperson to ensure smooth transaction workflows and customer satisfaction.

    + Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.

    + Oversee and manage the status of open orders, providing updates as necessary to ensure timelines are met.

    + Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.

    + Leverage inventory systems to assist with order fulfillment and stock accuracy.

    + Use SAP to efficiently manage and organize sales procedures.

    Requirements

    + A minimum of 2-3 years in a sales support, inside sales, or similar customer-focused role.

    + Prior experience with SAP, or other ERP/CRM tools, is required.

    + Strong ability to build relationships, handle client concerns, and prioritize customer satisfaction.

    + Proven ability to accurately process orders, manage complex documentation, and track multiple open orders effectively.

    + Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with customers, teammates, and external sales representatives.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain an efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

    + Strong analytical skills to resolve customer complaints and help identify process improvements.

    + Familiarity with quoting, shipping documentation, inventory management, and project coordination.
