Description

We are looking for a meticulous Billing Clerk for our client in Richland, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting processes and billing systems, with the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently. This role involves handling various billing and inventory-related tasks while providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage invoices through computerized billing systems to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions with attention to detail.

• Generate and review inventory reports to maintain accurate records and track inventory levels.

• Respond to inbound calls and inquiries related to billing and account issues, providing clear and thorough support.

• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in billing and inventory tracking.

• Assist in monitoring and updating inventory tracking systems to ensure data integrity.

• Provide input to improve billing processes and systems for greater efficiency.

• Prepare and deliver reports on billing activities to management as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and computerized billing tools.

• Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and functions.

• Ability to generate and analyze inventory reports with a high level of accuracy.

• Excellent communication skills for handling inquiries and resolving billing issues.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.

• Prior experience in a billing or accounting role is preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems is an advantage.
