    Position Summary

    The Digital and IT Analyst will be a key resource within the Corporate Cyber Risk & Awareness team, with a focus on regulation and security standards pertaining to Parker digital products manufactured across all operating groups. You will identify regulations and standards relevant to the security (safety) of Parker products through internal/external research, customer questionnaires & contracts, RFI/RFP’s and risk assessments. The role will create a program to consult with those who are involved in adhering to product security regulations and compliance standards within groups and divisions. The role will involve designing, implementing and maintaining solutions and processes to assist groups and divisions in responding to external customer questionnaires, requirements and reviewing security clauses within contracts relating to Parker product security. This position will also involve exposure and involvement in other services offered by the Corporate Cyber Risk & Awareness team.

     

    Scope/Supervision and Interaction

     

    This position Does Not Have Direct Reports

     

    Collaborates with other technical analysts, business teams (engineering, product, commercial and legal), external customers, regulators and assessors.

    Responsibilities

    + This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

    + Provide advice and direction on adherence to product security regulation, customer requirements and certification or compliance where required

    + Devise a program to raise awareness and consult on product security regulations, customer requirements and certification or compliance across all operating groups

    + Identify and prioritize customer demands and trends in Parker digital product security landscape

    + Work to integrate product security requirements into Parkers existing programs and processes.

    + Information Security Management System (ISMS)

    + Digital Products Security Program Process (TARA)

    + Consult with divisional and group product development and engineering teams to aid in certifying locations or product lines to identified product security regulations and standards

    + Analyze and apply Enterprise data to make recommendations / modifications to streamline & simplify processes while reducing operating costs

    + Develops and deploys appropriate Digital and Information Technology solutions and processes

    + Develops and delivers training to support process changes and new technology introductions

    + Evaluates and modifies existing technology and processes to allow for changes in business requirements or equipment configurations

    + Overnight travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of solutions and processes as needed

    + Provide after-hour technical support as needed

    + Assist in training and mentoring new team members

    Qualifications

    + This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent)

    + 2+ years related IT experience

    + Knowledge or experience of Cyber/Product security regulatory landscape (NIST, ISO, TISAX, UNECE, ISA/IEC) preferred

     

    Skills

     

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office & Power tools

    + Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

    + Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability

    + Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization

    + Ability to establish own priorities and adapt to changing priorities

    + Demonstrates ability to manage projects
