This role is an onsite role based at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, California.
How you’ll make an impact:
The Senior Analyst, Commercial Sales Contract will negotiate US sales and distribution agreements, compliance documents and other transactions with individual hospitals, integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, distributors, and government facilities.
+ Develop relationships and negotiate with healthcare administrators and other healthcare professionals of individual hospitals, integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, distributors, and government facilities to finalize terms and conditions for complex US sales and distribution agreements, compliance documents while achieving business objectives and anticipating future needs.
+ Analyze, advise, and recommend solutions for business management of issues and risks involving contracts and other transactions
+ Draft complex terms and conditions (e.g., build rebates, complex pricing structures) for US sales and distribution agreements, compliance documents and other transactions with individual hospitals, integrated delivery networks, group purchasing organizations, distributors, and government facilities.
+ Collaborate with legal and compliance to evaluate, research, and analyze issues relating to regulation of medical devices, HIPAA compliance, anti-kickback laws, federal fraud and abuse regulations, and other related statutes and regulations.
+ Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk management, quality, and regulatory to resolve all contract issues and disputes and ensure contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations (protecting company against anti-kickback; fraud and abuse; and inducement)
+ Develop, implement and provide guidance to sales operations around complex contracting and pricing strategies.
+ Inform, educate and train sales and operations teams and key stakeholders from business units regarding contracting policies and systems
+ Other incidental duties
What you’ll need (required):
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience
What else we look for (preferred):
+ Paralegal certificate
+ Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for the sale of medical products
+ Proven expertise in MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Experience in Contract Lifecycle Management CLM systems and BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlik)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
+ Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
+ Substantial knowledge and understanding of contract language
+ Ability to identify and communicate any business risks
+ Ability to draft contract language and correspondence and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
+ Knowledge of business acumen as it relates to sales
+ Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
+ Strict attention to detail
+ Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
+ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
+ Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the department on projects
Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.
For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $113,000 (highly experienced).
