Job Overview:

The Decision Support Analyst provides financial and operational analysis, to assist in business decisions, as requested by all levels of management throughout the Health System, Utilizing Performance Analytics tools and other available systems, the Decision Support Analyst will prepare reports to measure and trend key performance metrics and present results in an analytical manner. This position will be located in the West Orange Corporate office, Travel between the RWJBarnabas Health locations may be required.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required

+ Master s degree a plus

+ Experience in the Healthcare Industry a plus

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills required

+ Experience with Strata, EPIC, Tableau, SQL, or other Business Intelligence tools a plus

+ Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate ability to analyze large amounts of data, and present a meaningful format

Salary Range:

$75,597.00 - $106,780.00, Annual

Essential Functions:

+ Ongoing preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports, delivered to designated recipients within specified reporting period

+ Provides key monthly volumes to Finance in a timely manner, to support month end close package

+ Responsible for development of ongoing reports to support new corporate initiatives, ensuring standardization of criteria across all facilities, efficiency of report design, and complete documentation of process, to facilitate routine updates

+ Responsible for preparation of adhoc requests from Corporate departments, according to specified criteria and timelines, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data

+ Assists with data integrity analyses to ensure accuracy of data within the decision support data warehouse, by auditing results to source system

+ This position reports to the Director of Decision Support, and will work closely with other members of the Decision Support team
