    Pay Range: $16.00 to $16.00 per hour

    The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

    Job Overview:

    The main functions of the Utility Food Service Worker are washing of dishes, removal of garbage and trash, and overall sanitation of the department.

    Qualifications:

    Preferred:

    + Previous food service experience

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Shift working, 3:30pm-7:30pm each day / 4:00p-8:00p each day

    + Rotating Weekends and holidays

    + Part Time

    Essential Functions:

    + Sweeps and mops kitchen and cafeteria

    + Disposes of trash and cardboard,

    + Has knowledge of MSDS sheets

    + Fills out sanitization logSoaks, washes, rinses, sanitizes and stores all pots, pans and utensils used in food preparation for service.

    + All items are free from food, soil and grease,

    + Sanitized using the appropriate chemicals,

    + Stored on racks properly to allow air circulation,

    + Removes all garbage from the department as needed and instructed by the supervisor and places clean liners in garbage cans,

    + Cleans and sanitizes his hands as needed,

    + Garbage dumpsters are cleaned and sanitized daily,

    + Demonstrates flexibility and initiative on the job, evidenced by the

    + The following: utilize lulls in the workload to assist other department personnel in completing assignments,

    + Keeps the work area in a clean, neat and organized fashion,

    + Understands the duties of other comparable positions in the department so that coverage can be maintained during staffing shortages

    + Performs other duties as assigned
