What are we looking for?

The Additives Technician will support the Caleb Brett business and be a valuable member of our team. They will render additive injection services to customers who are timely, safe, legal, ethical, and effective; to perform the necessary calculations and documentation, which ensure that the customer receives an accurate and complete additive injection package. We’re looking for motivated personnel, capable of thinking on their feet, and able to adjust equipment and the injection requirements as needed. To do that, they should have a mechanical aptitude and be able to perform calculations utilizing basic math and basic algebra. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and can interact with team members as well as storage and refinery personnel.

What you’ll do:

+ Perform additive injections utilizing air and electric pumps

+ Perform manual tank adultizations at job sites which can include tanks, vessels, rail cars, barges etc.

+ Transport chemical and equipment to job sites

+ Perform inspection work as assigned in support of the organization's goals

+ Operate a forklift to load and unload additives and equipment

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

+ Possess and maintain a valid TWIC Card

+ Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a reliable driving record

+ Pass drug screenings with background checks.

+ Class “A” CDL with airbrakes, hazmat, and tanker endorsements is preferred.

+ Be capable of handling heavy equipment/drums via forklift or manually

+ Working in all outside weather conditions safely while performing job duties.
