Engineers on the Network Engineering Operations (NE-OPS) team are responsible for providing operation support of all network systems. The NE-OPS team is also responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise networking monitoring systems.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Installation, configuration, integration, and support of network systems

+ Staging and deployment of network operating systems

+ Work with Network Engineering teams on defining proper alerts and thresholds for network systems

+ Work with Network Support on any network alerting or monitoring issues.

+ Assist with vulnerability remediation

+ Problem-determination and resolution

+ Tier 3 support escalation and on-call rotation

+ Project team participation

+ New technology awareness, research, and system integration

Potential Annual Pay with Bonus:

Year End Bonus:

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Network Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience

+ Operations experience with Cisco networks in an enterprise environment

+ Experience working with network monitoring systems

+ Experience supporting a wide variety of networking components including Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers and Access Points

+ Experience with network management platforms and products

Preferred Qualifications:

+ CCNA Certification

+ Solid understanding and working knowledge of enterprise networks

+ Solid understanding and working knowledge of firewalls and next gen firewalls

+ Experience with networking tools including NetMRI, Broadcom Spectrum/Performance Center, ServiceNow, and HP Network Automation

+ Understanding of networking protocols

+ Experience with Cisco Nexus devices
