    As a Level 2 Machinist here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules.

     

    You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements.

     

    You will report to one of our supervisors and work onsite in our Spokane, WA plant located on Sullivan Ave, Spokane, Washington.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Operate and monitor machining equipment

    + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting

    + Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy

    + Collaborate with engineers and designers

    + Follow safety protocols

    + Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, refractometers and height gauges

    + Use computers and read blueprints.

    SHIFTS AVAILABLE:** 2 ND Shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am **Monday – Thursday

    3 rd Shift: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm **Thursday – Sunday**

    **SALARY:** The Salary Range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour plus shift differential.

     

    The actual base salary will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

    Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

     

    This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and components

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications

    + Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy

    + Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity

    + Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications

    + Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime

    + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

    + Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance and meet production goals

    + Continuously improve machining processes and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Prior experience as a machinist or similar role

    + Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment

    + Strong attention to detail and quality control

    + Ability to read blueprints

    WE VALUE

    + High School diploma or GED

    + Experience with CNC machining

    + Knowledge of programming and CAD and / or CAM software
