    Job Description

    The Accounts Receivable/Billing Coordinator is responsible for performing full cycle accounts receivable processing. This includes proper account coding, discrepancy resolution, accurate billing, preparation of monthly AR accruals, and monitoring of AR aging and system discrepancies.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately invoice customers and record customer payments using multiple invoicing schedules and systems.

    + Perform typing, faxing, mail distribution, phone messaging, and other office-related duties as required.

    + Enter and update customer and shipment information as needed.

    + Assist in clearing collections issues such as credit memos, debit memos, and short pays.

    + Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough records in proprietary database.

    + Receive and respond to customer calls and correspondence, provide excellent service, and escalate concerns as needed.

    + Update schedule, logs, and tasks daily.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in invoicing and data entry

    + Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

    + Ability to multitask and problem-solve

    + Experience with purchase order, invoice entry, and reconciliation

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) and some college-level math or accounting courses

    + 2+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities in a similar or related industry

    + Strong worksheet preparation experience

    + Computer literacy including saving files, editing PDFs, and navigating desktop environments

    + Salesforce Service Cloud experience is a plus

    + Strong research, multitasking, and note-taking skills

    + Customer service highly valued (restaurant, medical, etc.)

    Work Environment

    The position is based in an office environment with a schedule from Monday to Friday. Flexible start times are available, including 8:00–5:00, 8:30–5:00, 9:00–6:00, or 9:30–6:00, with lunch breaks of either 30 or 60 minutes, requiring adherence to one schedule. The role must be available until 5 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $21.00/hr.
