We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Associate to join our finance team. You will be responsible for evaluating customer credit-worthiness, managing credit risk, and supporting the company's revenue growth by balancing risk with business opportunities. This role plays a critical part in protecting the company’s financial health while enabling strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze credit data, financial statements, and payment histories to assess customer credit risk.
+ Recommend credit limits and terms for new and existing customers in accordance with corporate policies.
+ Monitor customer accounts and proactively manage the credit portfolio to minimize delinquency and bad debt.
+ Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting teams to resolve credit and collection issues.
+ Prepare credit reports, presentations, and risk assessments for senior management.
+ Stay updated on economic and industry-specific factors that could impact customer credit risk.
+ Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analyses.
+ Assist with the continuous improvement of credit risk management processes, policies, and reporting.
+ Remain flexible with a positive disposition in the face of changing needs and customer demands.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a financial field preferred
+ 2+ years of credit analysis, financial analysis, or related experience preferred
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
+ Knowledge of credit reporting from agencies like D&B and Experian
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Work Environment
This role will be based onsite in a corporate office environment in the Greater Memphis Area, providing an opportunity to interact closely with various teams and departments. The position offers a 7.5% bonus paid out based on company performance, which has exceeded 100% for the last five years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
