Contracts and Pricing - Individual ContributorJob Description

The role involves assisting in evaluating and implementing pricing strategies and models based on current business and competitive market dynamics. The individual will conduct research, perform competitive pricing analysis, and monitor the ongoing competitive environment to ensure that practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in evaluating and implementing pricing strategies and models based on current business and competitive market dynamics.

+ Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis.

+ Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.

+ Partner with Sales/Marketing, Business Development, and Finance to correctly position the product portfolio.

+ Establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.

+ Evaluate opportunities to monetize products offered initially at little to no cost or to create upsell opportunities as products are repositioned in the marketplace.

+ Project impact of pricing changes, individual promotions, and rebate programs on revenue.

+ Create and administer pricing databases.

+ Coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in pricing analysis and strategies.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline.

+ Ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ University degree or equivalent practical knowledge.

+ No prior experience required.

Work Environment

The role requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise, operating as an individual contributor. The work is typically conducted independently, with minimal supervision, in an environment that encourages autonomy and decision-making based on practice and previous experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.87 - $28.30/hr.
