Job Title: Regional Accounting Administrator
Job Description
The Regional Accounting Administrator provides essential support to the region, including branch administrators, market VPGMs, and regional staff. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can effectively manage administrative tasks and support regional operations.
Responsibilities
+ Travel approximately 25% of the time across four states to support regional operations.
+ Provide administrative support to Market VPGMs, Regional Finance Manager, and other regional leadership team members.
+ Offer training, guidance, and coaching to Branch Administrators throughout the region, ensuring effective operations.
+ Step into a Branch Administrator role when required.
+ Process departmental invoices and expenses accurately and timely.
+ Collect, compile, and analyze complex data to coordinate projects and deadlines.
+ Maintain documents on appropriate file servers and repositories.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts, gaining recognition as a valuable team resource.
+ Utilize core technology applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Process payroll and serve as a backup to the Branch Administrator.
+ Coordinate and plan regional meetings and events.
+ Ensure the region meets Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable goals, including billing and collections.
+ Participate in special projects, including file audits and assisting branches as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Strong understanding and experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
+ Proficiency in billing management and payroll management.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office suite applications.
+ Solid understanding of JD Edwards E-One and EIS.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum 3 years of general office administration experience, including accounts payable, billing, and payroll.
+ 3 to 5 years of experience leading and managing team members within a matrixed organization.
+ Experience supporting level leaders in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Detail-oriented and self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively.
+ Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
+ Experience in processing confidential information and understanding privacy laws and company policies.
Work Environment
This role requires onsite presence four times per week and involves overseeing 15-20 branch administrators across four states. The position includes approximately 25% travel between these states. The work environment encourages collaboration and offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking leadership team in the landscaping services industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
