Growing accounting firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
2+ years of bookkeeping experience
Must have experience with QuickBooks Online
Intermediate experience with Excel functions
Non-profit experience nice to have!
Job Description
Manage transactional accounting tasks for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial records. Responsibilities include payroll processing, accounts payable, contribution and donation data entry, and bank and deposit reconciliations. This role requires effective communication with clients and collaboration with a small internal team while adapting to shifting priorities.
Responsibilities include:
+ Managing bookkeeping for 4–5 clients.
+ Handle accounts payable and manage contribution and donation data entry.
+ Process payroll for employees.
+ Perform bank and deposit reconciliations.
+ Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
+ Communicate with clients to gather documentation or clarify transactions.
+ Follow clearly defined processes and guidelines.
+ Collaborate with a small team, including full-time and part-time staff.
+ Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Support the transition of clients into a new company structure.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
