Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist / B2B Collections
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to actively manage and collect open AR balances. This role involves collaborating with branch personnel and utilizing the Get Paid AR collection system to update customer contact information and notes on account status. The specialist will respond to customer inquiries, reconcile accounts, perform administrative tasks, and establish payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
+ Actively collect open AR balances by contacting customers and supporting branch personnel.
+ Update the Get Paid AR collection system with customer contact information, notes, and payment promises.
+ Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance or redirect issues for resolution.
+ Reconcile accounts and perform administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned.
+ Establish acceptable payment arrangements, including settlements, while building positive relationships with customers.
+ Counsel customers to assist in finding funds to bring accounts current.
+ Generate and respond to written correspondence in a professional and compliant manner.
+ Maintain accurate documentation reflecting conversations and arrangements reached with customers.
+ Manage collection objectives using professionalism and persuasiveness.
+ Make recommendations for next steps when accounts become un-performing or unresponsive.
+ Complete skip tracing when contact with customers ceases.
+ Collaborate effectively with salespersons, branch personnel, and other team members to resolve accounts.
+ Work unapplied cash in search of payments.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in collections, accounts receivable, and customer service.
+ Proficiency in reconciliation, accounting, invoicing, and cash application.
+ Experienced in B2B collections with a focus on client relations.
+ Experience with collecting on large accounts.
+ Ability to assist customers with tracking returns and credits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of high volume collections, research, resolution, and de-escalation experience.
+ Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
+ Salesforce experience preferred.
+ Experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred.
+ Comfortable being on the phone and performing B2B collections.
+ Eager and excited to learn.
+ Ability to multitask.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
