We are looking for a **_Lab and Office Maintenance and Building Manager_** to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte.

We are seeking a professional like you to manage the 11 Lab and Office buildings at the Wyandotte site with maintenance and facilities management. Managing a ~$14M budget, you will maintain a safe work environment in the facilities, plan and implement renovations and modifications to site owned buildings both short and long term in order to maintain adherence to industry/corporate/site standards.
In addition, the Lab and Office Maintenance and Building Manager is the liaison between the Site Director, the Site Services Team and the R&D/Analytical/Technical Services teams.

+ Utilizing your leadership skills and supervisory experience to manage a maintenance team of 14 BASF employees and a small group of contractors to ensure a safe work environment
+ Bringing your strong skills in project management which will be leveraged to plan and implement renovations and modifications
+ Using your capital project experience to serve as the manufacturing representative on capital project teams for site building capital projects.
+ Successfully engaging across the R&D, Analytical, and Technical Services communities to provide both tactical and strategic direction on lab layout and operations balancing the complexities and prioritization needed for facility maintenance and renovations.
+ Applying your prior work experience in a maintenance environment, you will implement maintenance practices to improve maintainability and reliability of equipment

+ Possess a 2- year technical degree, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or other technical field (preferred).
+ Hold 5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance with building management or R&D/lab facilities management (preferred).
+ Have experience in preventative and predictive maintenance programs and project management.
+ Hold knowledge of EHS requirements for labs and offices
+ Are able to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance. Also, strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrate leadership skills with focus on relationship building with key stakeholders and strong interpersonal skills.
+ Are proficient with SAP and MS Office
+ Have knowledge of iOffice software (preferred)
