What you will be doing as a** **Final Avionics Technician** **:

In this role, you can expect toshowcaseyourexpertiseby functional testing and repairingavionics, electronic, and communication systems during the final assembly of productionaircraft\. Your skills will ensure the seamless integration andoptimalperformance of these critical systems\.

Your responsibilities may include \(but are not limited to\):

+ **System Testing & Configuration** **:** Test and configure electrical andavionicssystemsusing airplane orders, schematics, and engineering specs

+ **Component** **Installation** **:** Install and remove components and wiring for systems like radios, altimeters, transponders, and weather radar

+ **Software Loading** **:** Load system software and databases, configuring asrequired

+ **System Adjustment & Restoration** **:** Use hand tools to adjust or restore systems to proper operation according to shop procedures and engineering requirements

+ **Troubleshooting Assistance** **:** Guide orassist3\-5 employees in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical,electricaland avionicssystem issues

+ **Quality Assurance** **:** Ensure the quality of your work through meticulous testing and adherence to standards

What you need to be successful:

+ A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification isrequired\.

+ Haveat least 1yearofaircraftexperience including wire bundle routing and installation isrequired

+ A knowledge of electrical andavionicsprinciples use of test equipment isrequired

+ At least one year of fundamentalavionicsand electronics is helpful
