    Job Title: Inventory Specialist

    Job Description

    This role involves managing inventory operations within a dynamic warehouse setting. Candidates will operate various forklifts and equipment, perform inventory counts, and ensure product movement and shipment preparation.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklifts and standup forklifts for less than 30% of the day.

    + Move products and pallets throughout the facility efficiently.

    + Pick products using RF scanners and verify picks.

    + Perform inventory counts and cycle counts accurately.

    + View pick sheets and order sheets for order preparation.

    + Prepare products for shipment and move materials using various equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts and willingness to learn cherry picker operations.

    + Experience with RF scanners and inventory control.

    + Ability to perform loading and unloading tasks effectively.

    + Competence in using pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.

    + Basic computer data entry skills.

    + Familiarity with Excel and inventory management software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a Warehouse Clerk or Picker is beneficial.

    + Proficiency in using smart phones and iPads for inventory tasks.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
