Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team in the Over Mold Area. This role operates on the 2nd shift, with working hours from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Employees will be notified on Wednesday mornings if overtime is required on Friday or Saturday. Initial training will occur on the 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This project is scheduled to run through August and does not offer a hire-in opportunity.

Responsibilities

+ Set up jobs for the day and ensure completion of tasks within the Over Mold Department.

+ Load wires into molds and cycle them into the press using the over molding process.

+ Set up injection molding machines and adjust parameters to meet part specifications.

+ Ensure quality control and document manufacturing processes.

+ Utilize hand tools and power tools for electrical wiring and assembly.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in blueprint or schematic reading.

+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

+ Experience with basic hand tools and electrical wiring.

+ Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with crimping devices, wire machines, and strip machines.

+ Background in plastic injection molding is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a clean facility where manual labor involves lifting up to 40 pounds. Enjoy a super casual environment with team collaboration on the assembly line and during wire spooling. Dress code requires shirts with sleeves, shorts or pants without holes, and steel toe boots. Headphones are permitted with one earbud during work. Safety glasses and gloves are provided if needed. The shop is equipped with fans but is non-temperature controlled, and each team consists of roughly 4-6 members with 20 people total on the 1st shift. We are currently expanding to add this 3rd shift and welcome referrals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
