    Job Title: Welder - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    This role involves creating custom stands for vehicles for leading automotive groups. As a welder, you will perform both TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, ranging from 2 inches to 16 gauge, with an equal split between TIG and MIG techniques.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel.

    + Operate a brake press, saw, and perform minimal assembly tasks.

    + Work off of blueprints to complete fabrication projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.

    + Experience working with stainless steel and sheet metal.

    + Ability to read blueprints with 2 years of experience.

    + Fabrication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.

    + Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a fabrication shop with a clean and climate-controlled environment. The smaller shop includes only three people in the Welding/Fab department. The role is a 1st shift position, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 3:30pm. The dress code requires jeans, work-appropriate shirts, and steel-toed shoes.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleton, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
