    Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.

    + Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

    + Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.

    + Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.

    + Manage work orders within a CMMS.

    + Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.

    + Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

    + 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.

    + 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

    + 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

    + 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.

    + 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

    + 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

    + High school or equivalent diploma.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

    + Continuous improvement mindset.

    + Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

    + Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.

    + Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

    + 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.

    + 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based controls systems.

    + Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a large distribution facility with high-speed automation equipment, including robotic components. Performance is tracked by data and numbers to ensure expectations are met. Candidates should be comfortable walking 10,000 steps per day and lifting 49 lbs at a time. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift as positions are available for all shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
