    Job Description

    You will be responsible for overseeing a high-volume production line, ensuring daily productivity and quality goals are met. You will lead work cells to assemble components, provide training to team members, and adjust equipment or personnel as necessary to achieve targets.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead high volume production line with objectives of meeting daily productivity and quality goals.

    + Guide work cell teams in assembling components using manual dexterity, machine operation, and simple hand tools.

    + Provide training and instruction to work cell teams on day-to-day assignments.

    + Review ongoing productivity levels, ensuring equipment and personnel meet targets, and adjust as necessary.

    + Work at different workstations as production needs require.

    + Use hand and power tools for skilled fitting and assembly work, and inspect parts.

    + Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

    + Position and align parts in specified relationship using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.

    + Join or secure parts using operations such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, or press fitting.

    + Perform other assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies.

    + Troubleshoot and replace defects of finished products.

    + Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.

    + Follow safety procedures in handling flammable and hazardous chemicals to meet cleanliness specifications.

    + Ensure quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.

    + Record information on production records, logs, and other report forms.

    + Communicate departmental goals, objectives, and status daily.

    + Push and pull in accordance with the production schedule.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
