    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting test strips. You will be responsible for lifting up to 25 lbs, packaging products, and operating basic production tools. Your keen eye for detail will be essential as you remove, separate, document, and report any defective materials or products. Monitoring material levels and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are vital to ensuring smooth operations. Be prepared to perform additional duties as required and work extended hours when necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and inspect test strips.

    + Lift up to 25 lbs during operations.

    + Package products and operate basic production tools.

    + Remove, separate, document, and report defective materials/products.

    + Monitor material levels to ensure adequate supplies.

    + Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Perform additional duties as required.

    + Work extended hours when necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general production and manufacturing.

    + Ability to stand all day and lift 25 lbs.

    + Proficiency in basic production tools and machinery.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Entry-level position with good job tenure.

    + Desire to work in the manufacturing industry.

    Work in a renowned production environment with approximately 90 people, where our company is celebrated globally for its leadership in manufacturing chemicals and test kits for monitoring water quality. We offer a diverse range of test-kit configurations. Our workplace is rooted in a rich history, having been established as W. A. Taylor & Company in 1930 in Baltimore. Enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, with options for 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm) or 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm).

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
