Job Title: Shipping & Receiving / Sit down Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled individual for the Shipping & Receiving role. This position involves operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse setting, focusing on pulling orders, putaways, loading, and inventory counting.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a sit-down forklift to efficiently handle warehouse tasks.

+ Perform putaways and pull orders accurately.

+ Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

+ Conduct inventory counts and ensure materials are handled properly.

Essential Skills

+ Experience operating a sit-down forklift, specifically Toyota brand.

+ 1+ years of forklift operation experience.

+ Familiarity with warehouse and material handling tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction sites or building materials is preferred, but not required.

+ Strong tenure and proven experience with sit-down forklifts.

Work Environment

The work environment is a construction site materials warehouse, open to outside elements with overhead awnings. The position is located in the Door Department of the facility. The role requires working Monday through Friday, starting at 5:30 AM during training, with the facility operating from 5 AM to 5 PM. Dress code includes metatarsal boots, jeans (no shorts), and a plain T-shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
