Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

The Material Handler will be responsible for efficiently building pallets based on customer orders, which will include a mix of beer cases and wine bottles. The role requires reading off a tablet or handheld device for pallet orders, utilizing a shrink wrap machine to wrap completed pallets, and staging pallets for pick-up.

Responsibilities

+ Build pallets based on customer orders, including beer cases and wine bottles.

+ Read pallet orders from a tablet or handheld device.

+ Utilize shrink wrap machine to wrap completed pallets.

+ Stage pallets for pick-up.

Essential Skills

+ Heavy lifting experience in a previous role.

+ 1+ year experience operating forklift or walkie rider

+ 1+ year experience in order entry using tablets or other handheld devices.

+ Experience with shrink wrap machine usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1+ year of experience with shrink wrap machine is a plus.

Work Environment

The work will take place in a vast 200,000 square foot facility, with activities concentrated in a 10,000 square foot area. The night shift is expanding from 70 to 95 employees. While a portion of the warehouse is kept cool at 68 degrees, other areas are non-climate controlled.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moraine, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
